In 2015, 193 nations signed a promise to the world. They called it the 2030 Agenda — seventeen Sustainable Development Goals representing humanity’s most ambitious commitment to a better future. Goal 7 was unambiguous: ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable energy for all.
We are one year from that deadline. For hundreds of millions of people across Latin America and beyond, the promise remains unmet.
LuminaTerra AI was built to help close that gap.
The Goals We Were Built to Fulfill
LuminaTerra doesn’t simply align with the UN SDGs. It was designed to operationalize them.
SDGs 1 and 10 — No Poverty and Reduced Inequalities are where the mission becomes most personal. Energy poverty is one of the most stubborn drivers of economic inequality in the developing world. A family spending 15–20% of its income on electricity has less for food, education, and healthcare. From day one, LuminaTerra is committed to identifying subsidized financing, government grants, and partner programs that bring solar to those who need it most. This is not a side commitment. It is core to why we exist.
SDG 7 — Affordable and Clean Energy is the most direct. Colombia receives among the highest solar irradiation levels in the world, yet solar penetration among its 9 million households remains remarkably low. The barrier isn’t technological — it’s informational and structural. People don’t know who to trust, how to compare options, or how to access financing. Lumina, our AI advisor, exists to dismantle those barriers one household at a time.

SDG 8 — Decent Work and Economic Growth as every installation facilitated through LuminaTerra creates local employment in a sector that is growing fast and hiring faster. Additionally, every business that reduces its energy costs through solar has more capital to reinvest, grow, and hire. Clean energy is not just an environmental outcome. It is an economic one.
SDG 13 — Climate Action needs no elaboration in 2026. Every solar installation facilitated through LuminaTerra is a measurable reduction in emissions. Every family that makes the switch is a vote for a different future.
Why Colombia — and Why Now
Colombia is not a random starting point. It is a strategic one.
The country sits near the equator with consistent, powerful sunlight year-round. Under Law 1715, meaningful government incentives for solar adoption are already in place. Electricity prices have reached historic highs. And Colombia’s solar market is projected to grow at a 54% annual rate between 2024 and 2029 — from 1.48 GW to 12.85 GW of installed capacity.
The infrastructure for a solar revolution exists. The policy support is there. The economics are compelling. What has been missing is a single trusted platform intelligent enough to bring it all together for ordinary people.
Once proven in Colombia, the path forward is clear — across Latin America to Peru, Mexico, Chile and beyond, then into Spain where Stratik already has an established presence, and eventually into Africa, where solar potential is enormous and vulnerable communities are among those most in need of energy access.
What Makes This Team Different
Stratik is not a startup in the traditional sense. It is a 15-year-old technology company that has delivered complex platforms for the Office of the Presidency of Colombia, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, and Ecopetrol. When this team says it can build LuminaTerra, it is drawing on more than a decade of proven execution in the exact market where the platform launches.
Roberto Guerra brings the sustainability vision and academic grounding from EOI Business School in Madrid, combined with deep lived experience in Colombia. Jorge Rojas brings nearly two decades of platform-building discipline. Camila Salinas brings the design intelligence that makes complex technology feel human and trustworthy — in a sector built on confusion, that is a genuine competitive advantage.
Shadai García brings hands-on solar engineering expertise, the crucial bridge between the algorithm and the panel on the rooftop. Carlos Merlano, AI strategist and doctoral candidate at Purdue, brings the machine learning architecture that makes Lumina possible — built by someone who has implemented AI at scale where the stakes were real. And Ion Iglesias, ESG specialist and climate advocate based in Madrid, brings the European network and renewable energy partnerships that give LuminaTerra its international backbone from day one.
This team was not assembled for a pitch deck. It was built, over years and across continents, for exactly this mission.
